Tell Your Loved One’s Story
In the campaign description, tell the story of your loved one. Describe your relationship and explain what he or she meant to you.
We’ve found that wording your story as a tribute to your loved one and including photos of him or her at different points in life allows others to reminisce about the times they shared together.
Share Specific Financial Needs
You can encourage more giving by letting your supporters exactly what the needs are. Our Wish List feature allows you to add specific items (such as flowers and funeral home expenses) and the amount that each item costs, so they can donate toward a specific aspect of the service.
Keep Your Supporters Involved
Posting frequent updates with photos paying tribute to your loved one, or publicly thanking donors will go a long way to keep up the support. Be clear about where the funds will be going and who will be handling them—this helps reduce unnecessary stress and prevents difficult questions.
